Ben Stevens

Ben Stevens is The Mac Lawyer and runs www.TheMacLawyer.com blog.  The Mac Lawyer is one of the most widely read blogs on using Macs in the Law Office.  With Grant Griffiths, Ben started and maintains the Macs In the Law Office (MILO) Google Group with 1,400+ members.  Ben is often on the forefront of new technologies and better ways of using Macs and Mac-related software in a law practice.

MILOfest is lucky to have Ben presenting on the subject of Computing In The Cloud using RocketMatter and Evernote.

About Ben

Ben is a practicing attorney located in Spartanburg, SC. After using Windows machines for over a decade, his office has been all Mac-based since August of 2005. He have given presentations on both technology and legal topics at continuing education seminars, and he enjoy speaking on those subjects.

Ben is proud to have graduated with honors from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and a minor in Accounting. Ben was also active in Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity during my time at Clemson, and he was honored to serve as its chapter President during my Senior year. After graduating from Clemson, ben attended the Univ. of South Carolina School of Law, but his loyalty remains with Clemson.

He has practiced in Spartanburg, South Carolina since 1995, and he has had his own firm (both with and without partners) since 1996. Ben is a member of various organizations in and out of the practice of law

Ben is the proud father of two beautiful children (a son and a daughter). In his "free" time, he coaches little league baseball and basketball, and his firm sponsors at least one youth sports team every year. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg. Finally, Ben is also a charter Heisman Level member of IPTAY and an avid supporter of Clemson University athletics.
